Terms of use
The rules of this site
This site shows what we make and takes quote requests. It is not a shop — nothing is bought here, so these terms cover using the site rather than buying from it.

Who you are contracting with
RiKU Ceramics is the trading name of TRIPBENTO PTE. LTD., an Exempt Private Company Limited by Shares registered in Singapore on 11 January 2024. That company is the seller, the party you contract with, and the one that takes payment.
Manufacturing origin and dispatch location depend on the product and order. They may be different from each other and from the seller's registered location. Check the individual Etsy listing or your custom quote for the details that apply to your purchase.
Where a purchase actually happens
Single pieces are bought on our Etsy shop, under Etsy’s terms and buyer protection. Prices, stock and delivery estimates shown here are drawn from those listings and can lag them; if the two disagree, the Etsy listing is correct.
Branded and wholesale runs are agreed by quote. A quote becomes an order when we confirm it in writing and you pay the deposit — not before.
A quote is not an offer
Figures we publish — MOQ, lead times, indicative pricing — describe normal conditions, not a binding commitment. A quote we send you is valid for the period stated on it and assumes the specification you gave us. If the specification changes, the quote changes.
We may decline an order. Our corporate gifting page lists occasions we turn down on purpose.
Artwork you send us
When you upload a logo or supply artwork, you confirm that you own it or are permitted to use it commercially, and that putting it on a product does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We are not in a position to check this and we rely on you.
You keep every right in your artwork. We use it to quote, to proof and to produce your order, and for nothing else without asking you first — including showing it as an example of our work.
We may refuse artwork we believe infringes a third party’s rights, or that we do not want to make.
What is ours
The photographs, text and design on this site are ours. Please do not republish them as your own product listings. Linking to us, or quoting a sentence with credit, is welcome.
Handmade means variation
Reactive and crystalline glazes are not repeatable by nature: no two pieces come out the same, and a photograph shows one of them. Variation in colour, crystal pattern and glaze break is the material behaving correctly, not a defect. Where something is a defect, see returns & breakage.
Accuracy, and what we cannot promise
We keep this site accurate and correct mistakes when we find them, but we do not warrant that every figure on every page is current at the moment you read it — the live ones come from Etsy and can be briefly stale. The site is provided as it is; we are not liable for a decision made on a page that had not caught up yet. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of an order placed with us, are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction.
If you bought through Etsy, that order is also subject to Etsy’s own terms and dispute process, and you may find it quicker to start there.
None of this removes a protection your local consumer law gives you and does not allow to be removed by agreement.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page is when the wording last changed, and the version live when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Questions go to riku@rikuceramics.com.
